"Country house Podere
Costa Romana"
The antique residence is in the Umbrian countryside along
the hillside on the slopes of the Amerino Navarese-ridge, protected from
the north winds, dominant on the hills that go down towards the Via Consolare
Flaminia that links Rome to the antique Narnia (today's Narni) and that
allows to reach Rome in less than an hour. This is where the toponym "Costa
Romana" comes from.
The 19th century building, built on antique medioeval preexistences, as
testified by the beautiful squared rocks re-used in the masonry , has
its origin for a large farmer-family in service of the lands of the Counts
Mancinelli Scotti of S. Vito whose summer residence, called Palazzone
(big palace - 18th century) stands out imponently on the hills before.
Today our house, recovered in its antique soul, thanks to its Padrona,
furnished with antique furniture, has returned to life in order to give
a moment of joy to the ones who aren't anymore used to stop for a while...
and look around.
The farm Costa Romana places 6 mini-apartments at its guest's disposal.
All the apartments are equip you of angle baking (wide equip to you) and
air conditioned.
