Otricoli (Ocriculum)
Along the Flaminia consular street, the first main
village in Umbria was Ocriculum, today's Otricoli.
It was an important connection between Rome and its provinces because
of its olive oil commerce and the strategic port along the river
Tiber . Walking through the ruins it’s still possible to imagine
the ancient population lifestyle and at the same time enjoy the
countryside around it
