B&B Buonavita
Umbria is a region where art blends with nature, landscape
with architecture, town with country, and where there has always been
an even balance between man and nature.
Buona Vita is a Bed & Breakfast in Terni, the town of St. Valentine,
where we offer you a warm welcome and an enjoyable breakfast. Our car
rental service widens the possibilities of sight seeing in the surrounding
countryside.
By following the Valnerina valley it is possible to visit various Benedectine
monasteries and the Marmore waterfall, the highest in Italy and Europe
and possibly a future UNESCO world heritage site. Here one can try such
sports as canyioning, rafting, canoeing, jet skiing speleology, free-climbing
and mountain biking.
Further north one can visit the small hill towns of Sangemini, Acquasparta
and Massa Martana which have been visited since ancient roman times for
their health giving spas. The ancient Romans chose Carsulae in particular
for its baths and thermal waters.
Umbria is a region of outstanding natural beauty which remains largely
unspoilt and is characterised by lush vegetation, hills, rivers and lakes,
for example, the enchanting Piediluco lake. In terms of archeological
interest there are numerous remains in the area connected with benedectine
and franciscan monastic orders and, in addition to this, there are more
then 230 caves in and around Terni.
Buona vita is situated close to a golf course, a lake with tourist facilities
in which it is possible to swim, a riding ground and an airfield. Furthermore
you can practice Tai Chi, Qi Gong and meditation with us in a nearby wood
no matter what the length of your stay.
Finally, one cannot forget home-made umbrian cuisine. This can be found
in some local restaurants which we can recommend to you.
